Description

Design and implement automated unit and integration tests for embedded system software in a regulated medical device environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated unit and integration tests using Python, C++, and Google Test.
• Improve automated test infrastructure and refactor existing software for testability.
• Review software requirements, design specifications, and manual or automated test scripts.
• Execute software test protocols for complex medical devices, including black-box, white-box, performance, stress, and load testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software quality assurance experience with real-time embedded software systems in a regulated industry.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Google Test, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing software unit tests for complex modules based on requirements and design documents.
• Deep knowledge of embedded software testing methodologies (Black-box, White-box, performance, stress, and load testing).
• Proven record of developing and executing test protocols for complex medical devices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a collaborative agile team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA regulations, and international standards.
