Description

You design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for retail transaction systems, covering POS, payments, and end-to-end order lifecycles. You own the quality of distributed microservices across payments, inventory, pricing, and promotions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI and API test automation using Cypress, Node.js, and Selenium with BDD practices (Cucumber).
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for continuous testing.
• Validate distributed microservices across payments, inventory, pricing, and promotions.
• Execute high-volume, data-driven testing to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Perform end-to-end validation of checkout, refunds, and omnichannel retail workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA automation, specializing in retail transaction systems.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js for building robust automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and Selenium for UI automation.
• Experience implementing BDD practices using Cucumber.
• Proven track record integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
• Ability to validate distributed microservices in payment and inventory domains.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REST-based testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying defects early in Agile teams.
