Description

Own the automation strategy and execution for retail transaction systems, covering POS, payments, and end-to-order lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Cypress with Node.js, Selenium, and REST-based tools.
• Build UI and API test automation using JavaScript/Node.js and BDD practices with Cucumber.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for continuous testing.
• Validate distributed microservices across payments, inventory, pricing, and promotions.
• Execute end-to-end validation of checkout, refunds, and omnichannel retail workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in Cypress and Selenium.
• Strong JavaScript/Node.js skills for test script development.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of REST-based testing tools.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of retail transaction systems, including POS and payments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-volume, data-driven testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for defect identification.
