Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the team technically while deriving comprehensive test strategies for networking protocols.
- Understand networking protocols and technical concepts thoroughly to define quality system test plans.
- Execute testing plans, protocols, and document logs while identifying bugs and working with development teams for closure.
- Derive automation test plans from system test plans and automate tests based on specific objectives and project guidelines.
- Review release initiatives and system test plans of the team ensuring test plans map to all scenarios.
- Identify quality issues and log bugs with complete reproduction steps, logs and attachments for resolution.
- Review automation scripts and provide suggestions to improve overall testing efficiency and coverage.
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines and standards.
- Provide domain-specific expertise and overall software quality assurance leadership to cross-organization projects and programs.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software quality assurance organization.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members in testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience Required: Typically 6+ years experience in L2/L3 protocols testing and python automation with extensive hands-on experience in networking system testing.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
