Description

Own the design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks for Windows and web applications. You will drive testing innovations, mentor team members, and define technical standards to improve test effectiveness and release velocity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust UI automation frameworks for Windows and web applications, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Define core framework components including test management, object repositories, logging, reporting, and data-driven testing.
• Evaluate automation tools and libraries, creating POCs and ROI analyses to select the most effective software stack.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to define testable requirements, acceptance criteria, and risk-based coverage.
• Mentor team members, conduct training, and produce clear documentation and onboarding materials for QA engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation for SaaS/cloud applications.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell for scripting and framework development.
• Experience building SQL queries and managing relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and ability to contribute to technology stack and infrastructure design.
• Proven ability to define coding standards, QA best practices, and error management strategies.
• Experience implementing parallel execution strategies to optimize test speed and stability.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industry-specific ERP applications or transit scheduling/operations management tools (e.g., HASTUS, Trapeze FX).
• Knowledge of Selenium for web UI automation extension.
