Description

You will own the automation and quality assurance lifecycle for the product.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements and user pain points into comprehensive test cases by collaborating with product owners and engineers.
• Automate product testing, defining smoke, sanity, and regression test suites.
• Conduct manual and automated exploratory testing on high-risk features.
• Manage and triage defects reported during testing cycles using JIRA.
• Continuously improve the testing infrastructure for reliability and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in scripting test cases using Java or Selenium/WebDriver.
• Expertise in validating REST APIs and backend application flow logic.
• Demonstrable experience developing test suites from scratch for web services.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Lean QA methodologies.
• Experience with automation test frameworks and best practices (e.g., BDD).
• Experience with defect management using JIRA.
• Familiarity with build management tools like Gradle.
• Experience with Java and strong software development fundamentals.
