Description

You will own end-to-end testing for Point-of-Sale systems, covering mobile interfaces to backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing across multiple systems, verifying UI/UX, data in-transit, and data persistence.
• Develop automated UI tests using the Appium framework and automated API tests using Karate.
• Debug native iOS and Android mobile applications as well as backend Java stacks.
• Create detailed test plans and review them with cross-functional teams.
• Document and communicate bugs, issues, and status updates with high attention to detail.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
• Proficiency in testing SpringBoot Java microservices and databases in Microsoft Azure or Oracle Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Appium framework for mobile UI automation.
• Hands-on experience with Karate framework for API automation.
• Experience debugging mobile apps using Android Studio and Xcode.
• Experience debugging via logs or APM tools like Google Cloud Logs and New Relic.
• Proficiency with Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and IntelliJ or VSCode.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience testing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
