Description

You will own end-to-end testing for Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, creating automated UI and API tests to ensure quality across multiple platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create automated UI and API tests for POS systems using Appium and Karate.
• Debug native iOS and Android mobile applications alongside the backend Java stack.
• Develop detailed test plans and review them with the team.
• Document and communicate bugs, issues, and testing status clearly.
• Debug backend SpringBoot Java microservices and databases in Azure or Oracle Cloud.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in testing POS systems.
• Experience debugging iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Experience testing SpringBoot Java microservices and databases in Azure or Oracle Cloud.
• Ability to create automated UI tests using Appium.
• Ability to create automated API tests using the Karate framework.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Android Studio, Xcode, or IntelliJ/VSCode.
• Experience debugging using logs or APM tools like Google Cloud Logs or New Relic.
• Knowledge of software best practices to uphold quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SpringBoot, Java, and Microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
