Description

Build and maintain automation frameworks to support shift-left testing and continuous integration in St Paul, MN.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation frameworks from scratch and convert manual scripts to automated Gherkin scripts.
• Design and execute load, performance, regression, and smoke testing suites.
• Build toolsets to augment QA and development testing, focusing on defect prevention.
• Manage platform integration within CI/CD pipelines, including deployment and rollbacks.
• Create comprehensive test plans and implement test cases to verify web-based security vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• Over 3 years of professional QA experience with at least 2 years focused on automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby scripting.
• Extensive experience testing SOAP and API services.
• Knowledge of Cucumber, Capybara, and Sauce Labs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Shellscript, Chef, and Puppet.

Preferred Skills

• DevOps experience including managing Chef and Puppet recipes.
• Experience building test automation frameworks from the ground up.
