Own the test automation strategy, framework maintenance, and execution for web and API testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation scripts using Playwright for UI testing and Karate Framework for API testing.
• Maintain and enhance the automation framework to ensure robust and efficient testing processes.
• Debug, refine, and monitor test cases to guarantee accurate and reliable results.
• Act as the onsite lead, representing QE in planning, estimation, and team meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to team members on Playwright and automation best practices.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in QA automation.
• Proficiency in Playwright for UI automation.
• Experience with Karate Framework for RESTful API testing (JSON, JSON-LD, JSON Schema).
• Strong scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, VB, or Perl.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Git version control.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web application testing and continuous integration processes.
• Background in analyzing and designing test strategies.
