Description

You will design and implement automation frameworks from scratch using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, and Maven. You own the release pipeline by integrating tests into CI/CD workflows via Jenkins and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable automated tests for functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser scenarios.
• Execute API testing using REST Assured, Postman, and SOAPUI, including performance testing with JMeter/LoadRunner.
• Validate backend data integrity using SQL (MySQL) and manage test data in Linux environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, requirement analysis, and root cause analysis for defects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java automation with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD/Gherkin).
• Proficiency in Maven, Gradle, Git, and POM/Hybrid/Data-Driven framework design.
• Strong expertise in REST Assured, Postman, and SOAPUI for API validation.
• Experience with CI/CD integrations using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and test planning/execution strategies.
• Working knowledge of MySQL for backend validation.
• Experience with JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and IntelliJ IDEs.
