Description

Own the design and execution of automated test suites for backend services and APIs.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test suites for backend services and APIs.
• Perform integration and system testing across data and application layers.
• Validate data integrity across upstream and downstream systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution while supporting UAT cycles.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of QA or automation experience.
• Strong experience in backend and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Rest-Assured, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for test automation.
• Experience with data validation and SQL.
• Understanding of system integration and data flows.
• Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets.
• Exposure to financial data, portfolio systems, or reporting platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
