Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and scalable frameworks using Playwright.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable automation frameworks and validate end-to-end business workflows.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing across services and third-party systems.
• Create and execute API test cases, verifying payloads, status codes, authentication, and error handling.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright for browser automation.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven experience with API testing and RESTful services.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or Playwright API.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and STLC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to convert business requirements into clear test scenarios and automated cases.
• Experience reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
