Description

You will design, build, and improve automation frameworks for UI and API testing while ensuring software quality through rigorous debugging and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using modern standards to improve test development practices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to translate business requirements into actionable test plans and cases.
• Prepare and manage test data through mocking and service-level data preparation.
• Execute end-to-end testing and produce detailed test summary reports.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis to resolve software defects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles.
• Hands-on experience testing and automating APIs using Postman or SoapUI.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Zephyr, ALM, or X-ray.
• Practical experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, or GitLab.
• Ability to navigate and understand Mainframe green screens and lookup fields.
• Knowledge of Mainframe VSAM lookups and JCL jobs.
