Description

You define and own the test automation architecture for mobile applications on Android and iOS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide the implementation of automation frameworks using Appium, WebdriverIO, Mocha/Jest, and Chai.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and cloud device farms like BrowserStack.
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and guidelines for automation scripts and test frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers to build and maintain automated test suites.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with 4+ years in architecture or senior technical leadership.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Core Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Jest.
• Expertise in building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS.
• Experience integrating automated tests in Jenkins Pipelines.
• Hands-on experience running automated tests on BrowserStack or similar cloud device testing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of test design patterns, BDD/TDD approaches, and CI/CD best practices.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API automation (e.g., RestAssured, Postman).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for test infrastructure.
