Description

Lead QA automation for networking and switching products, owning test design, execution, and debugging across embedded Linux environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated tests for network switching products, covering L2/L3 protocols and associated features.
• Perform performance, scale, soak, and stress testing on network devices to ensure stability under load.
• Debug issues within embedded Linux environments using packet analysis and traffic generation tools.
• Validate protocols including STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation, DHCP, and IGMP Snooping.
• Maintain and enhance Python-based automation frameworks for Ethernet/IP and ETB testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in QA automation, specifically within networking or embedded systems.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, IGMP Snooping, VLAN).
• Proficiency in Python for building and maintaining test automation scripts.
• Experience with traffic generators such as IXIA or Spirent.
• Proficiency with packet sniffers and analysis tools like Wireshark or Scapy.
• Hands-on experience testing STP/RSTP/MSTP and Link Aggregation protocols.
• Understanding of ETB and Ethernet/IP testing methodologies.
• Ability to debug complex issues in embedded Linux environments.
