Description

You will own the automation and quality validation of APIs.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to define business requirements and acceptance criteria for API features.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for API testing using Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or SoapUI.
• Build automated frameworks to streamline testing processes and reduce manual overhead.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Track and report defects in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and providing status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Automation, specifically focused on API testing.
• Solid background in designing and implementing automated frameworks for API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Karate, SoapUI).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP protocols, including JSON and XML structures.
• Experience using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Knowledge of API design principles and testing concepts.
• Any Graduate education.
