Description

Manage application onboarding to Red Hat OpenShift and automate operational tasks using Python.

Responsibilities

• Onboard applications onto the Red Hat OpenShift platform.
• Manage middleware configuration using Ansible.
• Automate operational tasks for ISAM and LDAP using Python.
• Maintain, enhance, and debug existing Python automation scripts and APIs.
• Develop and enhance Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries for Java application deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• Proficiency in Python script development, including API integration and debugging.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management of Tomcat and ELK stack.
• Experience with Jenkins pipeline development and shared libraries.
• Knowledge of ELK (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) stack configuration and management.
• Ability to troubleshoot LDAP and ISAM issues, including LDAP searches.
• Understanding of SSL, self-signed/CA issued certificates, and keystores (JKS, KDB).
• Experience managing complex production applications and implementing multi-team changes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Tomcat and WebSphere middleware.
