Description

You will own the automated testing strategy for Salesforce Lightning environments to prevent defects from reaching production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement shift-left testing strategies as the technology platform undergoes re-architecture.
• Partner with DevOps engineers to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Decompose user stories and requirements to identify necessary UI and API test cases.
• Participate in product design reviews and Agile Scrum ceremonies to bake quality into the development lifecycle.
• Document test environment strategies and test data management provisioning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in test automation engineering covering both UI and API layers.
• Proficiency in writing code using JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js or similar JavaScript runtime environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber BDD testing frameworks and Gherkin syntax.
• Direct experience with CI/CD technologies including Git, GitLab, and Docker.
• Proven ability in automating API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience managing mocks, stubs, and virtual services for automation requirements.
• Knowledge of White Box testing practices and software engineering best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS Playwright, Cypress, or Jest.
• Knowledge of JSforce, SOQL, or Salesforce Lightning CRM integrations.
• Experience with AWS, REST services, or financial services technology.
