Description

You will own the testing strategy and automation framework for cloud-based big data pipelines on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for REST APIs using Rest Assured in Java, Python, or Groovy.
• Build and execute integration and performance tests for Kafka event streaming and Spark pipelines.
• Generate large volumes of synthetic data to validate system behavior under load.
• Implement automated testing for AWS services including S3 and SQL-based data verification.
• Create and manage test cases and defects using Jira.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Groovy; Python experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of Kafka, Spark, S3, and SQL scripting.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and big data platforms.
• Proficiency in Unix scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating big-data pipelines and platforms.
• Knowledge of Aerospike, Solr, Hadoop, or Cloudera.
