Description

You design and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems using Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web interfaces, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with developers to define test strategies, identify defects in Jira, and ensure coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing while optimizing test data and efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC principles with a focus on test case design and execution.
• Experience in REST API testing using Rest Assured or Postman.
• Proficiency in Maven or Gradle for build management.
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control and Jira for defect tracking.
• SQL skills for database validation and data verification.
• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
