Description

You will own the automation strategy for web and mobile applications, ensuring reliability through rigorous testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites and frameworks to maximize coverage for critical system features.
• Build and integrate detection tools within CI/CD pipelines to prevent breaking changes from reaching production.
• Set up automated systems to proactively notify stakeholders when breaking issues are identified.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate, debug, triage, and resolve defects.
• Document all testing processes, including test plans, procedures, and test cases.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Proven experience with ecommerce applications.
• Hands-on experience building end-to-end test suites using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience integrating detection tools within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Experience with DataDog Synthetics or similar application monitoring and alerting tools.
• Strong command of Git-based version control and JIRA for defect tracking.
• Experience working within offshore, nearshore, and onshore models.
• Ability to analyze bug reports and prioritize tests to optimize application functionality.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience working with Agile methodology.
