Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate data integrity across databases and integrated systems.
  • Execute API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar technologies.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports with root cause analysis.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing initiatives.
  • Monitor test execution metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership and project teams.
  • Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
  • Strong experience with automation tools such as:
    • Selenium WebDriver
    • Cypress
    • Playwright
    • UFT/QTP (preferred)
  • Proficiency in programming languages:
    • Java
    • Python
    • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with API testing tools including Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, ALM, or TestRail.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing
