Description

⚫ 5 to 8 years experience in software development testing with a minimum of 5 years' experience

in Automation (experience in Playwright is must).

⚫ Experience in developing scalable Automation Frameworks from scratch using Playwright and

Python (or Java).

⚫ Strong proficiency in Python programming (Python 3.x), including OOP concepts, data structures,

exception handling, and async programming (asyncio).

⚫ Hands-on experience with Python test runners, primarily pytest (along with pytest-playwright,

pytest-xdist for parallel execution, and pytest-html/Allure for test reporting).

⚫ Comprehensive expertise in Playwright core capabilities: Page Object Model (POM), multi-

browser execution (Chromium, WebKit, Firefox), auto-waiting, network intercepting/mocking,

tracing, and debugging.

⚫ Core Java programming knowledge and experience using TestNG framework.

⚫ Experience using a Continuous Integration tool is preferred (preferably JENKINS, GitHub Actions,

or GitLab CI).

⚫ Good knowledge of Web Services, including API automation using Playwright's built-in

APIRequestContext or Python requests.

⚫ Experience in using Open Source Tools (such as test cases repository, defect tracking, SOAP UI,

STORM, etc.).

⚫ Good to have exposure in Mobile Application testing including UI, BDD Testing, Regression tests,

and Performance tests.

⚫ Working knowledge of web technologies including basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript,

and DOM.

⚫ Good Written & Communication skills.

⚫ Understanding of latest technologies and architecture practices along with various design

patterns.

⚫ Knowledge on database and application performance improvement and application security is

required.

⚫ Experience on code reviews, architectural reviews, functional reviews, and giving estimations.

⚫ Good to have exposure of information security practices.

Qualifications:

BE / BCS or Equivalent CSE / IT

Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation,

negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed
