Description

You will own the design, development, and execution of automated tests for APIs and backend services in financial applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for APIs and backend services.
• Create and maintain test artifacts, including test plans and test cases, following enterprise QA processes.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to validate service behavior and error handling.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity across system boundaries for transactional data.
• Contribute automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support execution during build and release processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer in financial services or regulated environments.
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend services, including negative and error scenario validation.
• Working knowledge of test automation frameworks for API or backend testing.
• Understanding of QA practices across the SDLC, including Agile delivery and defect management.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail for documenting defects.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Jira for defect management and workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to microservices or containerized applications tested in cloud environments.
• Awareness of digital asset concepts like custody or tokenization to understand domain terminology.
