Description

You will own the quality of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms, driving automation and defect resolution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test suites for mobile applications using Appium or Katalon.
• Identify, document, and execute test cases for multi-component systems based on technical requirements.
• Own software defects from initial discovery through to final closure, coordinating fixes with developers.
• Analyze quality control metrics and contribute to decision-making for new feature development.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in mobile software testing with solid Java programming skills.
• Proficiency in testing Android and iOS apps using Appium or Katalon.
• Experience with API testing and a deep understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with BDD frameworks using Cucumber and the Gherkin language.
• Experience with performance testing and working in cloud-based environments.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and using build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Proficiency with Git repositories (GitHub) and the Atlassian Suite (Jira with Xray).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and basic design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, AWS, Ruby, or Scala.
• Proficiency with Postman for API testing and Jenkins for CI/CD.
