Description

QA Automation Engineer owning test strategy, script development, and release quality for web and API products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium or Karate with Core Java.
• Build test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases for web and API scenarios.
• Execute end-to-end, functional, and regression testing to validate product fixes.
• Lead technical discussions with business and development teams on testing activities.
• Track testing progress, report bugs systematically, and conduct risk analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Karate framework.
• Strong Core Java programming skills for test script development.
• Experience with API testing and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and Agile workflows.
• Knowledge of Git for version control.
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with test strategy development and risk analysis.
• Strong coordination skills for client and team communication.
