Description

You will lead end-to-end test strategies for complex workflows spanning distributed tiers and legacy mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate data-migration flows from mainframe to distributed environments in live mainframe settings.
• Build and maintain automation suites using Playwright and Cucumber within CI/CD pipelines.
• Define test roadmaps and track quality metrics including defect leakage, coverage, and automation percentages.
• Execute risk-based testing to prioritize test execution under tight delivery timelines.
• Partner with Product, DevOps, and Engineering teams to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software testing experience in both manual and automated frameworks.
• Deep hands-on experience with mainframe testing and data processing validation.
• Expertise in Playwright for UI automation and Insomnia for API testing.
• Proficiency with Cucumber/BDD and Selenium.
• Experience integrating automation into Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other DevOps pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of JIRA, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience using TestRail or qTest for test management.
• Bachelor's degree.
