QA Engineer

You will ensure IT solutions meet quality standards through rigorous testing and automation in Addison, TX.

Responsibilities

• Establish requirements, evaluate, and recommend test automation tools.
• Plan test automation frameworks and define implementation standards.
• Create automated tests for functional and GUI validation.
• Perform system, integration, functional, data validation, and performance testing.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide documentation and training.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software test automation experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Java, TestNG, JUnit, GIT, and Maven.
• QA professional certification such as ISTQB or QAI.
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC and project life cycle principles in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Expertise in testing methodologies and automation of complex platforms.
• Experience with distributed languages and mainframe environments.
• Ability to provide feedback and guidance to less experienced staff.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Java programming.
• Experience with mobile automation.
• Knowledge of Cucumber BDD, Cypress, Microfocus UFT, and Eclipse or IntelliJ.
