Description

You will own API validation automation and performance testing to ensure system scalability and stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute API test cases for functionality, security, and data validation using Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
• Automate API testing workflows using frameworks like Rest Assured or Karate.
• Plan and execute performance, load, and stress tests using JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Monitor and analyze metrics including response time, throughput, and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and track defects in JIRA or TestRail.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on API and performance testing.
• Proficiency with API testing tools including Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and testing methodologies.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD practices.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Database testing experience using SQL.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana or New Relic.
