Description

You will own the testing of complex web applications throughout the full software development life cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional and API testing using XML and JSON methodologies.
• Implement test automation using open source technologies or in-house frameworks.
• Perform performance testing using tools such as WAPT Pro.
• Validate data integrity through SQL queries and database testing.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience testing complex web applications.
• Proficiency in SQL and database testing.
• Hands-on experience with XML and JSON parsing and validation.
• Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience using test frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
• Experience with performance testing tools like WAPT Pro.
• Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with Texas Education Agency or Texas Student Data System (TSDS).

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with Jira.
• Previous experience with Zephyr Scale.
