Description

You will own performance testing and quality assurance for web applications, focusing on stability, responsiveness, and bottleneck identification.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance, load, and stress testing to assess system stability under varying conditions.
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and report defects clearly, tracking issues through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce bugs, troubleshoot root causes, and verify fixes.
• Improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with specific expertise in performance testing.
• Hands-on proficiency with JMeter and Postman for open-source performance testing.
• Strong ability to analyze performance results and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Proficiency in test case and script development.
• Understanding of web applications, HTTP protocols, APIs, and system architecture.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Git or Bitbucket for version control.
• Knowledge of industry trends in web and performance testing.
