Description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (4–5 years experience) who has strong experience in automation testing and is passionate about building scalable test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in UI and API automation and be capable of taking ownership of automation initiatives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for Web/API/Desktop applications.

Write clean, scalable, and reusable automation scripts.

Develop and execute automated test cases for UI and API testing.

Contribute to framework enhancement and optimization.

Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end automation testing.

Work closely with developers to understand features and ensure quality validation.

Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.

Participate in requirement analysis and test strategy discussions.

Ensure high test coverage and maintain automation stability.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
3–5 years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on automation.

Strong Hands-on experience in automation tools such as Playwright / Selenium / Cypress.

Strong experience in UI and API automation testing.

Experience with API tools like Postman / JMeter.

Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python).

Experience working with JIRA, Jenkins, CI/CD workflows.

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodology.

Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Quality-focused approach, proactive communication and ownership

Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently and take ownership
