Description

You will develop and execute test strategies for software applications of moderate complexity, overseeing the full testing lifecycle from planning to reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute formal test plans covering application, network, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Oversee the writing of test cases and scripts, including automation efforts for large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with technical and business groups to define testing scope and requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing activities including planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting.
• Research and implement new testing tools and methodologies to drive continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of related technical experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs and RESTful/JSON web services.
• Proficiency with Postman and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of information systems, including hardware, software, and network elements.
• Experience with database concepts and MS Office.
• Background in financial services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Merchant Payment Processing, including authorizations, clearing, settlement, and fraud analytics.
• Knowledge of payment processing for financial institutions, specifically debit, loan, or credit card systems.
