Description

Own end-to-end quality assurance for Java-based applications and microservices deployed on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Execute functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing to validate end-to-end workflows.
• Validate REST APIs and application logic written in Java using tools like Postman.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy, transformations, and integrity across relational and cloud databases.
• Log defects in JIRA, collaborate with developers, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software testing and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience testing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid understanding of Java for code review and debugging support.
• Advanced SQL skills for backend and data validation.
• Experience testing APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools like JIRA.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience validating GCP services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, or Pub/Sub.
• Support for testing in containerized environments.
