Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Apps Canvas Apps.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, test data, and traceability matrices aligned with project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing.
- Validate end‑to‑end workflows across Dynamics 365 CRM modules and Power Apps Canvas Apps.
- Test customizations and configurations, including forms, views, dashboards, workflows, business rules, and security roles.
- Validate Power Apps Canvas App behaviour across devices, screen resolutions, and user roles.
- Verify integrations with Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and third‑party systems.
- Log, track, retest, and report defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
- Collaborate closely with developers, functional consultants, and business users to resolve defects and ensure quality delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, daily stand‑ups, and release validations.
- Support UAT, production validation, and post‑release smoke testing.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and documentation practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
- Hands‑on experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Practical experience testing Power Apps Canvas Applications.
- Good understanding of Dataverse / Common Data Service (CDS).
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test lifecycle, and defect lifecycle.
- Proven ability to write clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases.
- Experience with integration testing, including APIs, Power Automate flows, or external systems.
- Solid understanding of CRM entities, forms, business process flows, workflows, and security roles.
- Ability to validate responsiveness, usability, and role‑based behaviour of Canvas Apps.
- Experience with QA and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Exposure to Power Automate, Model‑Driven Apps, and other Power Platform components.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation and backend verification.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools is an added advantage.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
