Description

You will own the testing lifecycle for mission-critical API services, including third-party integrations. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for REST and SOAP APIs to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and maintain automated API test scripts using Karate Labs, Postman, or JMeter.
• Conduct end-to-end testing across integrated applications and support backend validation via SQL.
• Manage the defect lifecycle and maintain regression test suites as product features evolve.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers and business analysts to drive quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including API and automation testing.
• Proficiency in testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, ThunderClient, or SOAP UI.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and validating backend data.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Karate Labs, Selenium, Java, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Git and Jenkins.
• Understanding of SDLC, QA frameworks, and testing methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience interacting with third-party vendors and external APIs.
