Description

You will own the quality assurance and automation strategy for backend systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functional and integration test suites for backend services.
• Define and enforce testing best practices, automation strategies, and code coverage standards.
• Manage third-party dependency testing within microservice architectures.
• Maintain and advance the release pipeline using CI/CD tooling.
• Handle QA data setup, mocking strategies, and test data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend/server-side engineering experience using Java and/or Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing test suites.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (CircleCI, GitHub EMU).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Aurora, DocDB, API Gateway).
• Experience working with microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Familiarity with QA data setup and mocking strategies.
• Experience in an agile development environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
