Description

Own the quality assurance strategy for cloud infrastructure and data pipeline migrations. Design and execute test plans that validate data integrity and system reliability in distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform validation tests for distributed streaming platforms like Kafka and Spark Streaming.
• Conduct performance, load, stress, and failover testing to simulate high-volume data conditions.
• Implement automated end-to-end and integration tests using Python and Go.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to validate infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate monitoring tools and troubleshoot migration issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA or testing roles.
• Proficiency in Python and Go for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS cloud platforms.
• Expertise with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Spark Streaming.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work in Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Liquibase for database schema management.
