Description

You will validate backend systems, integrations, data flows, and batch processes across enterprise applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for REST/SOAP APIs, validating payloads, status codes, and business rules.
• Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across databases and applications.
• Test stored procedures, views, and perform source-to-target validation for ETL processes.
• Validate scheduled batch jobs, ETL workflows, and file processing pipelines using tools like Control-M or Airflow.
• Monitor job execution logs, handle exceptions, and manage defect tracking in JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA, with strong expertise in API, Database, and Batch testing.
• Hands-on experience testing REST and SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured.
• Advanced SQL skills for database testing, including validation of stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with batch processing and ETL tools such as Control-M, Autosys, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency with SQL Server or Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and defect management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with end-to-end integration testing of complex enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of data reconciliation and exception handling in batch workflows.
