Hiring: QA Engineer
Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days/week from the office

iitjobs is looking for a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in software testing, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure.

Required Experience:- 5 to 7 years

iitjobs is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, virtualization, and Linux environments, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform UI and API automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
• Validate software functionality, performance, and stability across different environments.
• Install, configure, and validate software products during testing cycles.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and automation frameworks.
• Participate in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
• Support release validation and ensure product quality before deployment.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Selenium Automation
  • Playwright
  • API Testing (REST APIs)
  • UI Automation Testing
• Experience with automation frameworks and scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with VMware or virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of product installation, configuration, and validation.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
