Description

QA Engineer responsible for Bluetooth connectivity testing in Japan.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications to identify defects and provide technical advice.
• Design, create, and review test cases based on specifications and bug fix impacts.
• Execute functional and non-functional test cases, preparing required data and environments.
• Report defects, track their status, and verify fixes.
• Maintain QA knowledge, update testing guidelines, and support team engineers.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a QA engineer designing and executing test cases.
• Strong knowledge of Bluetooth (BDR/EDR) and BLE technologies.
• Proficiency with Bluetooth profiles: AVRCP, PBAP, A2DP, HFP, OPP, PAN, A2DP SINK.
• Experience with Bluetooth stacks such as BlueZ or Open Synergy.
• Ability to create and regularly update test plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Japanese and English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining and updating test case libraries.
