You will verify product functionality and performance against technical requirements and specifications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify testing documentation, including test plans, scripts, procedures, and setup instructions.
• Execute and track testing for new products and modifications to existing systems.
• Automate regression and smoke test scenarios.
• Identify potential process improvements, error trends, and root causes to recommend remedies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in Java and C++ within object-oriented programming environments.
• Experience testing web and back-end applications written in Java.
• Strong database knowledge including PL/SQL syntax, complex SQL joins, and ETL data transformation.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) deployed across distributed infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG and SOAPUI.
• Expertise in functional, system, black box, and white box testing techniques.
• Proficiency with defect management tools such as Xray, ClearQuest, or Bugzilla.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HTTPWatch and FireBug.
