Description

Validate Mac and iOS diagnostic tools in field service channels to support customer performance metrics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute systematic end-to-end test plans and test cases based on functional specifications.
• Report and prioritize issues using bug-tracking software, collaborating with developers to drive resolution.
• Provide accurate QA status updates to project managers and team leads throughout project phases.
• Collaborate with developers, product readiness, and localization teams to support cross-functional goals.
• Identify and close gaps in testing coverage or workflow inefficiencies to improve the QA process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software-based QA experience or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in core QA methodologies: test plan creation, test case authoring, and documentation.
• Experience with regression testing, ad hoc testing, and systems integration testing.
• Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for log collection and analysis.
• Advanced familiarity with operating and troubleshooting macOS and iOS hardware and software.
• Ability to accurately collect and track testing data to assist developers in gauging project impact.
• Strong problem isolation techniques and mobile testing skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating hardware test fixtures.
• Experience with testing automation software and scripting development on macOS and iOS platforms.
• iOS experience or Genius experience.
