Description

Own end-to-end test automation for frontend and backend applications within a global QA team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end testing for frontend and backend applications using OOP principles.
• Build test harnesses and infrastructure to support frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• Implement QA processes from requirements analysis and test design through automation and analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive QA standards throughout the SDLC.
• Own the quality and timeliness of deliveries while communicating progress and key issues to technical leaders.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation using Java.
• Experience developing test automation for web applications using Cypress, Selenium, or BDD Cucumber.
• Experience developing test automation for backend applications, preferably using Rest Assured.
• Strong core Java skills and deep understanding of OOP concepts.
• Proficiency in testing types including client/server, white-box, black-box, and relational database testing.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies, including Scrum, TDD, CI, and CD.
• Ability to understand component interactions within distributed systems.
• Experience using Continuous Integration tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Protractor, TypeScript, or Python.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
