Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Network Protocol Testing with strong expertise in Python automation, network protocol testing, Linux, and network troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automated testing of network protocols, packet-level analysis, and testing in Linux/Embedded Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform network protocol testing for TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python.
• Work with PyTest / Robot Framework for automation testing.
• Perform packet-level analysis and troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark / tcpdump.
• Execute testing in Linux / Embedded Linux environments.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with tools such as Jenkins and GitLab for continuous testing and integration.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Experience with PyTest and/or Robot Framework.
• Strong knowledge of Network Protocol Testing.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, and Switching.
• Experience with Linux / Embedded Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark / tcpdump.
• Experience with CI/CD – Jenkins, GitLab.

Good to Have / Differentiators

• Exposure to 4G / LTE / 5G technologies.
• Experience with VPN / IPSec.
• Knowledge of Network Automation using:
  • NETCONF
  • RESTCONF
  • SNMP
  • Ansible
• Experience with Cloud-Managed Networking platforms such as:
  • Meraki
  • Aruba
  • Mist
