You own quality assurance within the development lifecycle, ensuring Java applications meet standards through rigorous testing and code reviews.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans for Java applications.
• Perform code reviews and test peer code to maintain quality.
• Write and run automation and regression tests using established methodologies.
• Take on Java coding tasks when testing bandwidth is limited.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Java and J2EE.
• Expertise in Java application testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with automation tools and JUnit.
• Experience with core Java development.
• Familiarity with Agile development (Scrum).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional automation frameworks beyond JUnit.
• Background in full-stack Java development.
