Description

QA Engineer for Positive Train Control (PTC) systems engineering and testing. You will own the release pipeline, safety hazard analysis, and production support for critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety hazard analysis on PTC designs, Back office servers, and Dispatching systems.
• Review Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specifications to prepare test plans.
• Conduct unit, end-to-end, and PTC field testing for system customizations.
• Provide technical support using Access Management tools, Macros, SQR, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Document support tasks and test cases in adherence with CMM level standards.

Required Skills

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Applications.
• 1+ year of experience with JIRA, Redmine, Tableau, and Python.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQR, and Application Engine programs.
• Ability to conduct modification of Component Interfaces and scheduling jobs for IDM data upload.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to various unanticipated locations in the U.S.
