Description

You will own the performance testing lifecycle for micro front-ends and enterprise services, ensuring application stability under load. You will design load models, execute stress and endurance tests, and automate reporting to provide clear insights for engineering and SRE teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, capacity, and endurance tests across micro front-ends and enterprise services.
• Develop load models and cohesive test suites to validate application services and core infrastructure.
• Write high-quality code following established engineering standards and maintain performance test scripts.
• Automate performance reporting to provide digestible insights for engineers, SREs, and leadership.
• Enable automated performance feedback loops to identify the impact of code changes.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience writing and maintaining performance tests using Apache JMeter.
• Experience with APM and visibility tools such as AppDynamics, OpenSearch, and Grafana.
• Experience testing containerized Java and NodeJS applications in Kubernetes.
• Experience with traditional Virtual Machines using Apache Tomcat.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database systems like Oracle.
• Working knowledge of HTML, HTTP, REST, JSON, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of source code management using Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NoSQL and time series databases such as Apache Cassandra and InfluxDB.
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and measurement tools like SiteSpeed.io, Lighthouse, Chrome Performance Tools, or WebPageTest.
