Description

You own the performance validation lifecycle, translating NFRs and SLAs into executable test strategies and ensuring system stability under load.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance testing strategies, including test plans and scripts that simulate real-world usage patterns.
• Identify, isolate, and resolve performance bottlenecks such as memory leaks, hung threads, and crashes using profiling tools.
• Analyze application architecture and technology stacks to recommend appropriate performance testing approaches.
• Provide tuning recommendations and collaborate with development teams to implement and verify improvements.
• Manage test environment configurations, data requirements, and tool installations within Agile workflows.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
• Hands-on proficiency with JMeter, LoadRunner, and AppDynamics.
• Strong ability to use APM and profiling tools to analyze system performance.
• Experience working in both Windows and Unix environments.
• Understanding of application architecture and system performance analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system issues.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to identify cross-tier bottlenecks.
